A clearer starting point

You do not need to know which treatment to book.

Many clients arrive feeling unsure after trying several products, following conflicting online advice or booking treatments that did not seem right for their skin.

At ClearSkin4u, we begin by discussing what has been happening, how your skin feels, what you are currently using and what result you are realistically hoping to achieve.

The consultation is used to decide whether your next step should be professional treatment, a simpler homecare routine, time to repair the skin barrier or medical advice from your GP or dermatologist.

ClearSkin4u provides cosmetic skin consultations and professional treatments. We do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medication. Where a concern needs medical assessment, we will say so honestly.

Why ClearSkin4u feels different

Your skin does not need more pressure. It needs a plan that makes sense.

ClearSkin4u is built around listening, careful treatment selection and realistic support. The aim is not to sell the newest treatment or the longest routine. It is to help you understand what may be useful, what can wait and when medical advice is the better next step.

No one-size-fits-all packages No unrealistic promises No judgement about what you have tried No treatment without checking suitability

Meet Gemma

Professional knowledge with a genuine understanding of difficult skin.

ClearSkin4u was founded by Gemma, a qualified skin practitioner with a particular interest in acne, rosacea, inflammation, skin barrier health and the effect visible skin concerns can have on confidence.

Her own experience with inflammatory skin shaped the kind of clinic she wanted to create. Clients are given time to explain what has been happening, what they have already tried and how their skin affects everyday life.

Recommendations are based on training, consultation and treatment suitability rather than trends. Where a concern requires medical diagnosis or prescription treatment, Gemma will say so honestly.

What happens during a consultation?

A conversation first. Recommendations second.

You do not need to arrive knowing which treatment to choose. The consultation is designed to give you a clearer starting point.

01

Tell us what has been happening

We discuss when the concern began, how it changes, what seems to affect it and how it makes you feel.

02

Review what you currently use

We look at your skincare, prescribed products, supplements and any professional treatments you have previously tried.

03

Work out the priorities

Your first step may be treatment, homecare changes, barrier repair, monitoring or seeking medical assessment.

04

Leave with a realistic plan

You receive clear next steps, expected timescales and recommendations that consider your skin, budget and ability to remain consistent.

What clients value most

Feeling listened to can change the whole skin journey.

Many clients arrive after months or years of trying products, changing routines and feeling unsure who to trust.

The first improvement is often not a treatment result. It is leaving with a clearer understanding of the skin, fewer unnecessary products and a plan that feels possible to follow.

ClearSkin4u focuses on building trust gradually. That means explaining why something is recommended, what it may improve and when a different route would be more appropriate.

"I never thought I would go from hiding my skin to feeling comfortable without makeup."

Frequently asked questions

A few things clients often want to know before booking.

You are welcome to book a consultation even when you are unsure which treatment, location or appointment type is right for you.

Do I need to know which treatment to book?

No. Most clients begin with a skin consultation. The appointment is used to discuss your concern, current routine, goals and suitable next steps before any treatment is recommended.

Can ClearSkin4u diagnose skin conditions?

No. ClearSkin4u provides cosmetic skin consultations and professional treatments, but does not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medication.

Where symptoms need medical assessment, prescription treatment or specialist investigation, you will be advised to speak with your GP, pharmacist, optician or dermatologist.

What should I bring to a consultation?

Bring a list or photographs of your current skincare, details of any prescribed products and information about previous treatments.

Photographs of past flare-ups can also be helpful if your skin looks different on the day of the appointment.

Are online consultations available?

Yes. Online consultations are available for clients who want help reviewing their current routine, understanding treatment options or deciding whether an in-person appointment is appropriate.

Where is ClearSkin4u based?

The main clinic is based in Romiley, Stockport. Selected consultation and treatment dates are also available in Warrington.

Availability depends on the service and clinic schedule, so check the booking page for current dates.

Will I be expected to buy a full skincare routine?

No. Your current products are reviewed first and suitable products can be kept where appropriate.

Recommendations are introduced according to your skin, budget and ability to remain consistent. A shorter routine is often more useful than changing everything at once.

Can I book a treatment without a consultation?

Some appointments may include consultation time, while advanced treatments require a separate assessment, medical screening or patch test before treatment can proceed.

The booking page will show the correct appointment type, but contact the clinic when you are unsure.

How quickly should I expect results?

There is no single timescale that applies to every skin concern or treatment. Results depend on the condition of the skin, treatment type, homecare, consistency and individual response.

You will receive realistic guidance about expected progress before beginning a treatment plan.

A responsible approach

Good skin care also means knowing when not to treat.

Not every skin concern should begin with a facial, peel, injectable or laser treatment. Sometimes the safest next step is simplifying the routine, allowing the skin to settle or seeking medical advice.

ClearSkin4u aims to make those boundaries clear. Treatment will not be recommended simply because it is available.

  • Suitability is checked before advanced treatment
  • Expected outcomes and limitations are explained clearly
  • Patch testing is completed where required
  • Prescribed medication is left under the guidance of the prescriber
  • Medical referral is recommended when symptoms fall outside clinic scope

The purpose of a consultation is not to persuade you to book everything. It is to help you understand the most appropriate next step for your skin.

Ready for a clearer starting point?

Begin with a consultation built around your skin.

Whether you are concerned about acne, rosacea, pigmentation, scarring, sensitivity or changes in skin quality, your first appointment is a chance to explain what has been happening and receive honest guidance about what to do next.
